Villa Bellevue

Sleeping accommodation is in two distinct wings separated by what was the huge old barn, but now houses the social space. This comprises a large lounge, dining area and kitchen plus mezzanine television and table tennis areas. This makes the property ideal for couples, individuals or families that wish to holiday together but still have plenty of breathing space.

While in the long summer days the expansive garden and pool make al fresco living the norm, a combination of central heating and wood burning stoves ensure that this property has something to offer the whole year round.

The idyllic country back-roads , farmland and oak forests of this area make Bellevue an ideal spot from which to undertake holidays built around fishing, canoeing, cycling and bird watching. There are also excellent stables nearby which open the year round for lessons, trekking and children's pony clubs.

There is a mini hi-fi system incorporating CD/tape and radio plus a TV/DVD in the mezzanine area. There is a further TV/video in the upstairs west bedroom. Backgammon, draughts and numerous jigsaws (both adult and children) are available and there is an extensive library of paperbacks and cook-books for your enjoyment.

Outdoors Bellevue has a large cultivated garden. The pool and adjoining patio are towards the south of the garden with excellent views across the valley. The pool now has a fence around it in order to comply with French legislation. The garden also has a small stone structure which houses an old well. This is securely padlocked. There is a second patio near to the house and this is large enough for comfortable al fresco eating. Garden furniture is provided which includes loungers, dining table and chairs, sun parasol and charcoal barbecue. Garden games include Croquet, skittles and a children's trampoline.
