Les Blanquies

The estate Les Blanquies covers 8 hectares in community of Mauzac, and is situated on the boundary of the Périgord Noir, alone on a hill with wonderful views of the river Dordogne (see popup photo).

It is only 5 minutes by foot to the river and the pretty village of Mauzac.

The estate is in first-class condition.

A top floor, offering 2 large bedrooms with own bathroom (with an excellent view of the valley and the river). A child’s bed is also available.

A separate building beside the swimming pool, which has 3 bedrooms with a shared bathroom and a separate dining room with kitchen (max. 6 persons).

We also rent out a new luxury mobile home, fully equiped with kitchen, 2 bedrooms and extra couch (max. 6 persons).

You are welcome to pitch children’s tents - we have the space !

Activities

At the back of the house is a golf driving range and putting green. Also on site we often play boules and pétanque.

Along the boundary of the estate you will find the walking route G.R. 6 and there are excellent opportunities for mountain biking.

In the nearby villages there are many restaurants, but on request we serve meals in a family atmosphere outside on the terrace or inside next to the fireplace.

The whole of the rest of the Dordogne and Périgord Noir are at your doorstep.

Open all year, all other dates and prices on application. All prices are per week from Sat. (16.00) to Sat.(09.00). Other timings by arrangement. The prices for the Gite and Mobile home includes linen, towels (not beach towels), electricity and final cleaning but there an extra charge for heating. If renting the whole house and gite there is a damage and breakage deposit. Rooms are available on a weekly basis: from Saturday (3.00 p.m) to Saturday (10.00 am). Golf and painting lessons also from Sat. to Sat. Other stays on request.
