Château Vary has welcomed visitors since 1985 and during this period has extensively refurbished all accommodation. An inspection visit from ‘Crystal’ (one of the largest hotel and self-catering operators) graded the stables and cottage as 3* and the Château as 4*. Quality and comfort are of paramount importance, as well as practical items such as washing machines and dishwashers which are to be found in all apartments. The Château apartments are elegantly furnished in traditional style each being self-contained with separate entrances. The stables and cottage are furnished in rustic style, and are independently located in the grounds. The size of the grounds and the layout of the accommodation ensures everyone has space and privacy. Each unit has garden furniture and barbecue. It is a wonderful setting for a family holiday.
The smaller 5m x 9m is covered and heated which is particularly appreciated in the early and late season. The second larger pool is 12m x 6m and is refreshing during the hotter months.

This is entered via the main steps into a lounge. To the right of this is the grand salon and to the left is the dining room. The grand salon is shared with the owners and is for adult use only. The dining room leads through to the kitchen and also to the large shaded terrace with barbecue and garden furniture. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, gas cooker, micro-wave and fridge. On the second floor there are three bedrooms, two of which have twin beds and en-suite bathrooms. The third has twin beds and a set of bunk beds, and a shower room opposite on the corridor. On the third floor is the fourth bedroom with shower room opposite. Linen may be hired.
This is entered on the opposite side of the Château. It has a lounge/dining room. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, gas cooker and fridge. The first bedroom has twin beds and leads off from the lounge/dining room separated by a curtain. The second bedroom has twin beds and bunk beds. There is a separate bathroom with toilet. Linen may be hired.

The stables look across the swimming pool towards the Château about 100 meters away. The units are different, each designed to promote its individual character.
Le Studio, 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6. Entering through the glass double doors the lounge has a beamed ceiling and tuffeau (limestone) walls, similar to the ground floor apartment lounge/dining room. In the lounge as well as settee and armchairs, is a table and 6 chairs. Leading from here is a room containing bunk beds. The kitchen with gas cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge are beyond. Finally there is the bathroom with a ¾ bath and shower combined, washbasin and W.C. Above are a further 2 bedrooms and a shower room with washbasin and W.C. Linen may be hired.

'The Cottage' (left) has a large lounge/dining room with a corner kitchen which has a gas cooker, dishwasher and fridge. The washing machine is located in the shower room. There are three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with twin beds which has to be passed through to get to the third which has bunk beds. Linen may be hired.
Olympe (right) has a large lounge/dining room with a corner kitchen which has a gas cooker, dishwasher and fridge. It has a downstairs bedroom, and bathroom with washbasin, w.c. and bath. Upstairs are two more bedrooms. It has a large bay window, with views across the fields, which opens onto a terrace which take the morning sun. Linen may be hired.
