The self-catering accommodation comprises of a double bedroom with ensuite wetroom, suitable for a couple. There is a large living room with well fitted kitchen area, including washing machine. For those cooler days, heating is provided by electric radiators and a wood burning stove. |

The village of Segrie Fontaine is only 10 minutes walk away, where you will find a boulangerie, butchers, post office, bar and grocers. The larger towns of Flers and Falaise are some 15kms distant. The city of Caen, with its two cathedrals and old town with cobbled streets and offering first class shopping facilities and a vast selection of restaurants, is 35 kms away. The Normandy landing beaches and Cotentin coastline including Mont Saint Michel, are both about 1½ hours drive away as is the delightful coastal town of Honfleur. In short, there are plenty of places of interest to suit all tastes. In addition, the geology of the area is celebrated, as are the clear skies for stargazing. |
|
We will be pleased to give you advice on restaurants to suit your purse
and taste. Alternatively, we are able to offer table d'hôte served
in your own living room. The area has plenty of sporting activities, such as golf, horse riding, canoeing and walking. In addition, water skiing is available at the lake of Rabodange, only 10 minutes drive away. |
|
| Local shops and markets are full of wonderful fresh produce and of course the wine is plentiful, however you should try the local brews of Normandy cider, Pommeo and, if you feel brave, Calvados. The property has been furnished to a very high standard. |
