France: new lakeside gite sleeping 4-6 in 2 bedrooms
	Newly converted lakeside gite in France's wonderful Dordogne region. Once part of a barn has now been converted into a two-bedroom cottage suitable for a couple or small family. The Cottage is situated in a rural setting outside the Dordogne town of Montpon-Menesterol which lies on the River Isle, which is the same size as the River Dordogne albeit less famous. The gite is located in the spacious grounds of the owners' secluded home with the cottage having its own private entrance. Guests at Lake Side Cottage have full use of the swimming pool and sun loungers with BBQ and outside dining. The lake is stocked with fish including carp and private fishing is available to our guests.
The gite benefits from a large conservatory overlooking the lake where you can sit, watch and enjoy the wildlife. The interior of the single-storey cottage is bright exposing oak beams, spacious, and attractively furnished and tastefully decorated. There are two pairs of French doors leading from the conservatory: one to the lounge and the other into a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. A doorway off the kitchen leads into the lounge with TV and DVD player.
The master bedroom	From the living room, doorways lead to each of the bedrooms, which are fully furnished. A high quality bathroom has been fitted including double vanity unit, bath with shower over. Also an automatic washing machine is located within the bathroom. A separate WC is located off the lounge.

Local amenties & information
A pedalo on our private lake	You may wish to take a short walk to the gently flowing river l'Isle with picnic in hand, alternatively, we offer bicycle hire for venturing further afield or exploring the market town of Montpon which has a range of shops, restaurants and bars. Tennis courts are located in the village of St.Laurent des Hommes where you will find typical Perigordian style properties. The village offers a local bar, hairdressers, boulangerie and post office.
