Villa Emilu is one of a small group of newly built villas, surrounded by vineyards and a stone's throw from the blue-flagged beach of Portiragnes and its unspoilt, charming village, a short drive from Beziers and Narbonne.

The villa includes one double bedroom, one family bedroom with bunks, a single and a pull-out bed, plus a double sofabed in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped. Shower room and loo are downstairs. Visitors will have use of the development's communal swimming pool once completed in Summer 2003. Linen is provided.

As you enter Villa Emilu you find yourself in the living room / kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with combination microwave / fan oven / grill, 2 plate hob, kettle, full size fridge/freezer, washing machine, dish washer and all crockery, glasses and utensils. There is a dining table and chairs and large sofa bed. In the living area you will find a TV / Video (a collection of videos and CD). CD player and radio.

The first floor is approached by a pine staircase where there is a large airy double bedroom with beamed ceiling and next door the other bedroom has a set of bunk beds, a single bed and a pull out bed, making it ideal for children or a combination of adults / children.

The terrace at the front of the villa has garden furniture, deck chairs and a gas barbecue. Villa Emilu is in a delightful unspoilt location surrounded by vineyards, and a haven for walkers or beach lovers alike as it so close to the sea. The villa is situated on the edge of a small, newly-built collection of villas.

A quiet stroll carries you to the unspoilt and charming village of Portiragnes, with a restaurant, two bars, supermarche, boulangerie, charcuterie, tabac and church. It also has the benefit of being on the Canal du Midi yet only two minutes from the blue flagged beach of Portiragnes Plage.

The beach front has a hotel, and a small number of bars, cafes and shops. A control on building has meant that it has kept its charm and natural beauty, but still provides all the essential amenities found at a beachside village. The lovely town of Beziers is only 10 minutes away and Narbonne 20 minutes away. The nearest airport is Montpellier.
The whole area has endless possibilities with ancient cities (Carcasonne, Olargues) to sightsee, vineyards to visit with wine-tasting, roman remains to explore, the Camargue with its Flamingoes or just the fantastic blue flagged beach with its back drop of mountains to relax, swim or experiment with other watersports. Riding stables are also accessible nearby.
